HUMMINBIRD 385ci KAYAK KIT
The Humminbird 385ci is a waterproof combination Color Fish Finder, GPS w/builtin Antenna, and Chart Plotter unit complete with a 12 Volt 7 Amp Hour Battery, Dry Bag for the Battery, and Humminbird's In-Hull Kayak Transducer Mounting Kit. I highly recommend this unit for those yak anglers fishing large freshwater impoundments or near shore structure in saltwater.
The 385ci Combo fishfinder is a powerful fishing tool that features Humminbird’s exclusive new SwitchFire™ Sonar that provides two unique viewing options. In Clear Mode, SwitchFire allows the software to filter through returns and display only fish and structure, providing the angler with a clean, uncluttered screen. This mode works especially well in shallow and rough water, or to reduce undesired sonar noise. SwitchFire’s Max Mode unveils amazing detail that includes even the smallest subsurface objects, as well as thermoclines and water current.
The 385ci Combo fishfinder also includes cartography options never before available on a model of this size. In addition to the standard Humminbird UniMap™ cartography, the SD Card Slot on the 385ci Combo allows users to add optional Navionics® Gold, HotMaps™ and HotMaps™ Premium charts. Plus, with a SD card, sonar readings can be recorded and replayed at a later time to show drop-offs, channels or subsurface structure. Screen snapshots and waypoints can also be saved and managed by recording to the SD card.
The Navionics charts available for freshwater and saltwater will give you the ability to paddle directly and precisely to spots you wish to fish and be able to return exactly to the spots where you have caught fish in the past. You will be able to plot your routes and upload them to your computer fishing logs so you can accumulate a library of information about your fishing successes. This will allow you to know where to find fish at anytime of the year and under any conditions.

The Humminbird 570 is new for 2010. The 16 level grayscale high resolution 640V X 320H pixel 5 inch display with Dual Beam technology provides superior target identification in an affordable unit. The waterproof 570 is not an entry level unit that you will be looking to upgrade anytime soon. I highly recommend this unit for those yak anglers that do not require color, GPS or chart plotting. TRANSDUCER MOUNTING KIT
The new Humminbird Kayak Transducer Mounting Kit is in stock and ready for shipment. This kit will eliminate all the issues involved in mounting your Sonar/Fishfinder transducer inside the hull. The kit is complete with EVERYTHING required for installation. No longer will you have to find the right type of foam, goop, etc. to do the installation. Included in the kit is a semi-rigid plastic bracket for the transducer, an adhesive backing for the bracket, a scuff pad, environmentally friendly marine "grease" used to seal the transducer to the hull, and a cleaner/primer to prep the hull for the adhesive used on the adapter. There is also a hook and loop strap to secure the transducer in the adapter. Of course, there are complete instructions with illustrations. CABLE CLAMS
USED TO WATERPROOF CABLES PASSING THRU HULL
These Cable Clams are a great way to provide a waterproof method of running a cable thru the hull without having to remove the connectors. The Cable Clams come in three sizes that will accommodate most of the popular FF/Sonar/GPS/Chartplotter cable connectors. All sizes can be used for multiple cables if required. The rubber block is NOT pre-drilled for the cable diameter allowing the user to precisely fit each application. The body of the Cable Clam is made of Acetal (structural plastic), the seal and gasket material is UV-Stabilized Buna-N Rubber, and the fasteners are Stainless Steel. Complete installation instructions are included on the packaging. Three sizes are available:
SMALL - MAX CONNECTOR DIAMETER/WIDTH = .680 INCHES
