The Humminbird 570 is new for 2010.  The 16 level grayscale high resolution 640V X 320H pixel 5 inch display with Dual Beam technology provides superior target identification in an affordable unit.  The waterproof 570 is not an entry level unit that you will be looking to upgrade anytime soon.  I highly recommend this unit for those yak anglers that do not require color, GPS or chart plotting.  Check out some the features on the following links:

TRANSDUCER MOUNTING KIT

The new Humminbird Kayak Transducer Mounting Kit is in stock and ready for shipment.  This kit will eliminate all the issues involved in mounting your Sonar/Fishfinder transducer inside the hull.  The kit is complete with EVERYTHING  required for installation.  No longer will you have to find the right type of foam, goop, etc. to do the installation.  Included in the kit is a semi-rigid plastic bracket for the transducer, an adhesive backing for the bracket, a scuff pad, environmentally friendly marine "grease" used to seal the transducer to the hull, and a cleaner/primer to prep the hull for the adhesive used on the adapter.  There is also a hook and loop strap to secure the transducer in the adapter.  Of course, there are complete instructions with illustrations.  Please read these instructions before you begin installation.  Click here for a short video of how to use this kit.  Please excuse the noise in the video.  It was shot next to an airport not in a war zone.

CABLE CLAMS

USED TO WATERPROOF CABLES PASSING THRU HULL

These Cable Clams are a great way to provide a waterproof method of running a cable thru the hull without having to remove the connectors.  The Cable Clams come in three sizes that will accommodate most of the popular FF/Sonar/GPS/Chartplotter cable connectors.  All sizes can be used for multiple cables if required.  The rubber block is NOT pre-drilled for the cable diameter allowing the user to precisely fit each application.  The body of the Cable Clam is made of Acetal (structural plastic), the seal and gasket material is UV-Stabilized Buna-N Rubber, and the fasteners are Stainless Steel.  Complete installation instructions are included on the packaging.  Three sizes are available:

SMALL - MAX CONNECTOR DIAMETER/WIDTH = .680 INCHES

MEDIUM - MAX CONNECTOR DIAMETER/WIDTH = .834 INCHES

LARGE - MAX CONNECTOR DIAMETER/WITH = 1.396 INCHES

The outside diameter is:
