SHIPPING INFORMATION

Because of the way the shopping cart shipping charges have to be structured, there is sometimes what seems like and is too much charged for shipping.  CDE is not trying to make a profit on shipping your order.  If the shopping cart shipping charges exceed actual cost of shipping the difference will be refunded to you.  The exception to this are items that require the use of special shipping containers (SOP and CrateMate Jr.).  Then the cost of the special container is added to the actual shipping charges and any excess refunded.  If you have any questions about this policy, please contact CDE by phone or email.  The shopping cart is set up for shipping to the Continental US only.  Please contact CDE for shipping costs to other locations.

Scotty Bait Cast/Spinning Rod Holder No.280 Holds a bait caster reel in a cushioned cradle.  A slot in the front of the rod holder allows for a spinning reel to be securely held in place.  Pistol grip rod butts and trigger stick butts are securely held in this versatile rod holder.  Constructed of non-corrosive materials.  Don't forget mounting hardware, FKS-4, and silicone adhesive/sealer, 66BR.   A standard for kayak fishing.  Includes a No: 241 Mount.

Scotty No. 281 Bait Cast/Spinning Rod Holder (SAME AS THE 280) except it comes with a Scotty No. 244 Flush Deck Mounting Bracket.  The 244 fits in the recess of most kayaks with a console between your feet.  Can be mounted with rivets, RIV-10L.  Leaves the deck clear when the rod holder is removed. 

Scotty Powerlock Rod Holder No, 230 and 231.  This rod holder is stronger and more secure than the Scotty No.  280 and therefore a better choice for those yak anglers who are venturing offshore to troll for Kingfish, Bonita, etc.  You fresh water yak anglers targeting big Stripers should take a look at this rod holder.  This is basically for baitcasting/trolling reels, however it will hold a spinning rod by inserting it reel up.   The positive locking front collar will prevent rod and reel loss when you get a strike.  The No. 230 comes with a No.241 Base and the No. 231 comes with a No. 244 Flush Mount.

Scotty Fly Rod Holder No.265 Fully adjustable, multiple positioning.  Includes side or deck No: 241 mounting bracket.  Engineered with rugged non-corrosive materials.  Don't forget mounting hardware, FKS-4, and silicone adhesive/sealer, 66BR.  Makes your kayak fishing with a fly outfit much easier.

Scotty Fly Rod Holder No.264 comes with a No.244 Rectangular Flush Mount.  Otherwise same as No.265.  Can be mounted with RIV-10 Long Rivets.

Scotty Triple Rod Holder No.257. (New Style-Not w/flat bar) Mounts three Scotty Rod Holders onto one mounting bracket.  Made from re-enforced Nylon and Stainless Steel - includes stainless steel fastenings.  The Scotty Fishfinder Mount No.272 may also be used to add GPS or a Fishfinder to the Triple Rod Holder.  There are slots for lures and knives, etc.  Don't forget mounting hardware, FKS-4, and silicone adhesive/sealer, 66BR.

Scotty Flush Deck Mounting Bracket No.244. A low profile (1/4 " high) rod holder bracket that can be used to mount Scotty Rod Holders to reduce weight and and achieve a lower profile.  A rain/splash plug is built in to the mount.  This bracket can be mounted with 3/16" anodized rivets or ss fasteners.  Don't forget to use silicone adhesive/sealer, 66BR.

Scotty Round Flush Deck Mounting Bracket No. 344.  Sealed base for watertight applications.   For use with all Scotty Rod Holders and Accessories.  The 344 can be mounted with SS bolts and nuts or with 3/16 inch anodized rivets.  The 344 provides a clean deck when the rod holders are removed.  A plus for you fly fishermen.   Excellent choice for the Prowler and Prowler 13.  Fasteners are not included.

Scotty Compact Threaded Deck Mount No.  444.  This new mount is designed to fit in a smaller space than the other Scotty Mounts.  The diameter is only 2 3/8 inches.   You must have access to the inside of your yak to mount the No. 444.  You will need a 1 1/4" hole saw and 5/16" drill bit for installation.   The 444 comes with a rain cap and bottom cap.  Be sure to use sealant under the top flange to ensure a watertight seal.  Installation instructions

Scotty Gimbal Mount No. 253 allows you to use Scotty Rod Holders when your kayak has flush mounted rod holders.  No more holes to drill or modifications to your kayak necessary.  The Gimbal Mount just inserts into your existing flush mount and then any Scotty Rod Holder can be used.  This will get your expensive reels up higher and less likely to be soaked with water.  Easily removed to use the flush mounts for trolling larger rods if fishing off the beach.

Scotty  Rod Holder Extender No. 259.  Works great when used with the Scotty Flush Mounts No. 244 or No. 344 to get your reels up higher away from possible splash.  Also allows a more vertical orientation of the Scotty No. 280 Rod Holder.  When used with a console mounted rod holder the Extender moves the rod closed to you for easier and quicker use.  Lightweight nylon construction.  This extender raises your rod holder 6 1/2 inches.

Scotty Mini Rod Holder Extender NO: 254M is made from structural nylon for corrosion prevention.  The 254M will raise your rod holder 4 1/4 inches.  Works with all Scotty mounts.  Especially useful to clear your feet when using the Scotty Triple Mount.

Scotty Fishfinder Mount No.269.  For Lowrance, Eagle and most Garmin fishfinders.  For other brands-drill the bracket supplied with your fishfinder to match the Scotty bolt pattern.  Most handheld GPS mounts can also be used by drilling to match bolt patterns.  Constructed of non-corrosive materials.  Don't forget mounting hardware, FKS-4, and silicone adhesive/sealer, 66BR.

Scotty No: 272 Fishfinder Swivel Post is available if you already have a mount installed or the Triple Mount.  These mounts can be customized by attaching a larger plate to the top.  The larger plate can then be used to mount many items.

Flush Mount Rod Holder 30 degree angle with gimbal and closed end to keep the interior of your kayak dry.  These are normally mounted using 1/4" stainless oval head machine screws and a stainless nylock nut.  The mounting hardware is available separately as is the clear silicone adhesive sealer we recommend.  Price is per pair.  Please note:  The Flush Mount Rod Holders CDE is now stocking have a closed bottom and do not require a cap.
